Website for Institute for Family Wealth Launched!

EWM Group is pleased to announce the launch of the website for its educational division, Institute for Family Wealth.

Managing and Director and Founder of EWM Group launched the new website. At EWM Group we have been providing Family Governance, Coaching and Education to our clients and their advisory team for over a decade. Based on the demand of our clients, their advisers and the number of families we have worked with throughout Australia, we formalised the training programs in consultation with our international partners. The website was the latest edition to that program, Mr Scott said.

We are experiencing one of the greatest wealth transfers in history, Scott said. 81% of Australian family business owners intend to retire in the next ten years generating an expected wealth transfer of $3.5 trillion.* With up to 70% of wealth transfers to the next generation failing,** the Institute was established to provide families, and the advisers to affluent families with the tools, training and on going support to prepare the families for a successful transfer of wealth to future generations. The Institute for Family Wealth can provide training on various topics to the entire family, with or without their advisers. The training can also be customised to suit the specific requirements of the family.

For professional services firms and their individual advisers, this has never been more important. With research showing that as much as 98% of client assets leaving the adviser on the death of their client and partner*** it is now vital that advisers need to look beyond the money so they can deepen relationships with entire family and prepare for the transition of wealth.

The transition to the trusted family adviser will become the differentiating feature in retaining and growing an adviser’s practice during the great wealth transfer.

The Institute for Family Wealth can support advisers to enhance their position as the trusted family adviser by providing the tools, resources and training to change the adviser’s conversation from a purely technical one, to one of family and to allow them to attract, engage and retain generations of affluent families.

Families and advisers are encouraged to visit the website at https://www.familywealthinstitute.com.au and contact us for further information, attend one of upcoming programs or tailor a program suitable to your organisation.
